This page explains the small amount of browser storage Typing Dungeon Crawler (“TDC”) uses to keep you logged in, remember your settings, and run the game. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
“Cookies” are small text files a website stores in your browser. Modern web apps also use related technologies such as local storage and session storage to keep information on your device. TDC uses these only where needed to make the game work. In this policy “cookies” refers to all of these technologies.
Used to sign you in and keep you signed in securely. These are set by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) and are required to play with an account. Without them you cannot log in or stay logged in.
Used to remember your in-game settings (such as sound and display options) and, for guest players, to store progress locally on your device. These make the game usable but are not used to track you.
We do not currently use analytics. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in the future to understand how the game is used, it will be:
You can view, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Each browser is different; look under “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data”. You can also clear data only for this site.
Effects of disabling: the strictly necessary authentication storage is required to play with an account — if you block it, you will not be able to log in or stay logged in. Clearing functional storage will reset your settings, and guest progress stored locally will be permanently lost.
We will update this page if our use of cookies changes, and adjust the “last updated” date above. Questions? Contact us at support@typingdungeoncrawler.com or via the Support page.
